Project: STARBUCKS Corporate Office Design, New Construction, 25,000 sq. ft.

SUMMARY: In 1983, the Starbucks Coffee Company building which is in 333 Clay St Suite 3700 (37th Floor) Houston, Texas was completed. The 37th  floor was working well for them, but now with new-generations working together and a new way of working in an open workspace, they require a renovation and additions to their floor to better fit their new workstyles. It appears, like so many other companies, all aspects of their work have changed. My client, the CEO of Starbucks Company Howard Schultz has a specific vision in mind and wants to have the latest technology and open workspace in this floor.

 

    

CONCEPT: My design concept is to create an open welcoming space by bringing natural light and daylight into the building through full-height glass doors and glass walls. Moreover, I am adding latest technology in the entire space and installing smart LED Ambiance lights and open high glass ceilings in the reception area. In addition, I will recommend white color on the walls and hard surface flooring, open workplace for easy communication as well as keeping it organized. My design will meet and exceed my client expectations and will bring natural light, technology and combination of vintage and modern furnishings.

 

     To achieve my goals and for ease of use, I will provide flexible, peaceful and useful space. My two main objectives are to meet my client desire for a connection to nature and leverage technology. My design will achieve this with an inspiring and well-balanced approach.
